Our students are amazing! Daily they proudly represent their families proudly making great choices. We want to show just how wonderful student behaviour is in a graphic. Read it Again!
​​This week, we are starting a new Oral Language Program, developed by the Department of Education. Read It Again – FoundationQ! is a curriculum-aligned program and is designed to support the Australian Curriculum by fostering foundational spoken language and emergent literacy skills. It provides a systematic, explicit, and flexible approach to building students' abilities in four key areas:
  • Vocabulary: Expanding students' word knowledge.
  • Narrative: Enhancing storytelling and comprehension skills.
  • Phonological Awareness: Developing the ability to recognize and manipulate sounds in spoken language.
  • Print Knowledge: Understanding the relationship between spoken and written language.

By engaging students in repeated readings of carefully selected storybooks, the program deepens students' understanding and enjoyment of stories, reinforcing language skills through repetition.

Badges Discontinued
Our Super Star badges have been decommissioned with the change of our PBL values. We will still continue to celebrate positive behaviour. We are pleased to introduce a new Academic Award celebration at the end of each semester. More information will be released next term.
