Our 2024 Cross Country is fast approaching! This will be a fantastic event for all our students and our communnity. The P&C will use the hall kiosk for BBQ and other food items for the community.
When: Thursday 18th April (Week 1 Thursday)
We will be running both a Fun Run and a Competitive Course. Details are as follows:
Fun Run:
Non-competitive run/obstacle course on the oval. We will have music
pumping and kids can walk/run with friends and everyone can get involved.
9:00 Preps and student leaders
9:15 Year 1/2
9:30 Year 3/4
9:45 Year 5/6
10:00 Parent v Teachers ... got to be in it to win it!
School Competitive Cross Country:
Competitive cross country is for students who are looking at being selected in the school team for districts.
Please see the video blow for the course details.
11:10 reassemble on oval whole school (Preps may join as able to)
11:30 11 & 12 year olds (students born 2012, 2013) 3km run, 2 laps of course
11:50 10 year olds (born 2014) 1.5km run, 1 lap of course
12:00 9 year olds (born 2015) 1.5km run, 1 lap of course
Awards will be presented Week 3 assembly.
