The late Peter Drucker (1909–2005) who is considered as the father of modern business management and innovation stated that "the purpose of an organization is to enable ordinary human beings to do extraordinary things."
At Deception Bay State School, we have formed a staff structure that enables extraordinary things to be achieved. Every staffs role at our school is to contribute to the successful enactment of our vision to connect futures for our students.
To enact our vision, we are building a culture of "interdependence" (Covey). This system of working will enable our dynamic team to accept and face our greatest challenge, "to enable each person to contribute his or her unique talents and passion to accomplish the organization's purpose." (Covey).
The following shows how each area connects futures for every child succeeding.
