Boarding the Bus

Most local schools are serviced by multiple school bus routes.

In the interest of student safety and reducing service disruptions, it is vital that students know the service/s that they need to catch and that they pay attention to the number of the service when boarding.

Services are identified by the number displayed in the front window (and sometimes side window) of the bus.  Our helpful Drivers can also confirm the route they are conducting.

Should a student realise that they have caught the wrong bus, they are to let the Driver know immediately so that arrangements can be made to get them safely to their destination.

To assist this process, we strongly recommend that students know the following information:-

  • Parent/caregivers name/s and contact number/s
  • Home address

Visit Translink's Journey Planner and/or our website to plan school travel.

Kind regards

Outside Hours Care ... UPDATE!

We are 3/4 of the way through the process to establish an OSHC program at our amazing school! There were over 12 providers who toured our site and of those 8 put in applications to establish a deep connection with us through an OSHC program. The next steps are final panel interviews and mapping out a implementation process. We are on track to implement by mid to late Term 3 2024!

Our New Space

Our school entry upgrade is looking amazing! The kids are loving the new synthetic turf and sandstone seating. Today we planted succulents and herbs in our new garden space. Our bushtucker garden is also booming in this space in their pots. Can't wait for harvesting time!

Student Resource Scheme

A reminder that payments are due for the student resource scheme. Families pay $85 per student and we supply everyhting they need for learnig in their classrooms! This is an amazing arrangement but can only work effectively if we all pay our way. If you need clarification or support to pay, please contact the office and we will do all we can to help.

Year 5/6 Camp

Year 5/6 camp will be held in October on the Sunshine Coast. Packs were sent home earlier this year and we will begin chasing permission notes shortly. The total cost is $250 pp for 2 nights and 3 days. It will be a fantastic opportunity to build stronger peer connections, confidence and team work skills.KindyLinq

Chappy Bingo!

Chappy Joss hosted an amazing Bingo evening in our new hall for all Chaplains, schools and communities in our local area. It was a great turn out and good test on how our hall held up for its first of many amazing events.
