Term 1 Newsletter Week 3 2025

QUT and the Digital Child are running the following competition for students.

The Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence for the Digital Child is pleased to announce that their competition called “Stories by Digital Children: A storytelling competition for 5-12 year olds" is back for Series 2.  

We invite young children to submit a concept for a children's story based on the theme, Getting the balance right: You decide what you share. The competition winners will work with a children's author and an illustrator to create a published version of their story.  The stories will help other young children understand the theme in accessible ways. 

Children can submit individual story ideas or class entries via this link - https://qsurvey.qut.edu.au/jfe/form/SV_cUeSq7nAphdRDDw . This link provides two ways of entering the story competition; upload a paper copy by accessing the provided template or use the online form.
