Mr Weeden has been enjoying taking small groups of students down to the waterfront during lunch breaks. These outings provide a wonderful opportunity for students to explore their local environment while developing social skills, teamwork and problem-solving.
One highlight from this week was watching a group of students work together to build a channel in the sand, then problem solve to figure out how they could filter the foam from the water. It was fantastic to see their curiosity and teamwork in action.
If you would like your child to participate in these experiences, please return the permission form sent home last week, or contact the office if you require another copy.
