Hi Families,

As we head into the long summer break, the holidays offer a wonderful opportunity for families to connect, talk, and share experiences together. Strong oral language skills develop through these everyday conversations, whether it’s chatting in the car, playing a game, or asking questions at dinnertime. To support families over the Christmas/summer period, I’ve put together a simple “Summer/ Christmas Conversation Calendar” with one quick activity for each day. These ideas are fun, low-pressure, and designed to help children build vocabulary, sentence structure, storytelling skills, and confidence while simply enjoying time with loved ones. You may also like to print a copy for your family fridge as a daily reminder. Have a great weekend everyone, only one more week to go! 😊
