Term 2 Newsletter Week 1

It is impotant for all of us to understand and have empathy for each other. Understanding a childs context provides us with the best perspective to apply to most effective proccess to help change behaviour. Many of our students come from complex and challenging backgrounds. From food shortages, clothing limitations, family break downs and transitient accomodation all impact our students. The we we see children show these challnges is through their behaviour. Please know that "all" student behaviour is addressed. It is done through the lens of first understanding the child and their context and then strategies are applied. This is a great video to help us all understand the challenges of life and how children may manifest them.
