Our School Logo

Connection and reflection are key components that bind great schools and communities. It is important to ensure that our school continues to be connected and reflective of our community. Communities evolve and change over time. It is therefore important that we as a school reflect and connect to our local community now and framing those relationships for the future. Community feedback has identified the need to adjust our logo.

To this end, we are undertaking a process to review and modify our school logo to provide an image of connection and reflection of our current and future community.

NAPLAN 2024

Each year The Australian Curriculum Authority (ACARA) conducts The National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) for all students in Years 3, 5, 7 and 9. It is the only nationwide assessment that all Australian children undertake. It's a measure to see whether or not young Australians are developing the literacy and numeracy skills that provide the critical foundation for other learning, and for their productive and rewarding participation in the community. Welcome School Leaders 2024

This week our student school leaders were welcomed to their roles by the school and their families. The Honourable Chris Whiting was present to participate in the ceremony and present our new captains with 4 brand new flags! It's going to be a great year for student voice!

Regional Swimmers

Congratulations to Elijah, Tayla, Zosia, Erin & Justiss who have been selected to attend the Redcliffe District Swimming Trials. We had 30 students participating in the Bay Interschool Swimming Carnival, the most participation we have had in a long time.

We've Been Granted! Thanks P&C

Our amazing P&C have been successful in winning an upgrade grant for ICT infrastructure at our school! We will be starting this term at upgrading data projectors and infrastructure in Years 1 and 2. We will then move into Years 3 and 4! Thank you P&C for everything you are doing to make our school a fantastic space to be!

The Hall ... We Are Nearly There

We are just 7 days away from an official handover! We are so excited to see and use our brand new hall, playground and open spaces! The kids have been waiting a very long time to use this magnificent new facility! Bring on 1 week!
